About Me


Over the last three decades I have held key positions in two of the UK's leading and most diversified farming operations, most recently as Managing Director at Dyson Farming and previously as Farms Director and shareholder at Velcourt Ltd, and, in addition, brought agtech start-ups to launch.

With this comes a multi-dimensional understanding, built on practical experience, of all aspects of land-based business, from farming, energy production and property to supply chains, technology, innovation, commodities and consumer-facing projects, and how to integrate them for the most effective returns.
As well as leading multimillion-pound growth of assets under my management and tripling profits on the same scale, I have taken great pride in developing in-house R&D and complementary investment opportunities.
This includes initiating and project managing a pioneering 15-acre strawberry glasshouse using green energy to create an advanced circular economy on-farm.

Working with and developing people is at the core of what I do, at corporate level as much as with new business start-ups and in my role as a youth hockey coach.
My firm belief is that if you get the culture of the team right, everything works, and I have seen the value of nurturing teams to evolve exceptional businesses.
